The legendary mansion on Sretenka Boulevard, where the new restaurant is located, is officially recognized as a "Repin" landmark in Moscow. The Russian artist himself visited this place and painted a portrait of Dr. and collector Lezin. The restaurant's menu is an authentic recreation of the cuisine of Imperial Russia, the era in which Ilya Repin lived. It represents a time of royally exquisite food, recipes that were lovingly preserved and passed down through generations. A dedicated team of culinary consultants was responsible for the historical research and menu development. One of the leading experts in Russian culinary history, a historian-gourmand, and editor of the renowned book "Russian Cuisine – 200 Years Later," Maxim Marusenko, searched for recipes in articles, chronicles, and even literary works of that time. The modern interpretation of these historical flavors was entrusted to: Alexander Gavrilychev, a member of the National Guild of Chefs; and Ruslan Fedotov, the current head chef of "Repin," a protégé of the renowned Michelin-starred chef Adrian Ketglas. The result is a menu that is balanced in every detail and has authentic historical roots.
