Moscow, 2 Trubnaya Square Website Concept by: Alexander Rappoport, United Restaurants Rappoport ABOUT THE RESTAURANT "Pythagoras" is a restaurant offering modern Greek cuisine and a new project by Alexander Rappoport. "Pythagoras" brings one of the global trends in the world of gastronomy to Moscow. The restaurant's main secret lies in its boldness, versatility, and the inherent irony. The unspoken motto of the menu, "Everything is in Greece!", explains the abundance of meat, fish, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Today, "Pythagoras" introduces the Moscow public to a new interpretation of Greek cuisine, characterized by a unique combination of traditional ingredients and culinary techniques with modern technologies and a contemporary approach to healthy eating. Modern, elegant food with the right touch of boldness, and at the same time, a mandatory focus on dietary principles – this is the hallmark of the "Pythagoras" cuisine. The kitchen is run by two chefs: Greek chef Christos Nanos and consulting chef Artem Martirosyan (also known as "Krabikutaby"). The redesign and decoration of the restaurant were realized by Valery Lizunov. The interior of the restaurant is based on the contrast between deep black and shimmering gold. One of the walls features a mathematical proof of the Pythagorean theorem. The central part of the restaurant is dedicated to a significant art installation that could adorn any gallery – a snow-white, lattice-like composition titled "Gods on Olympus build a temple with the help of drones." The authors are the winners of the Kandinsky Prize in the "Young Artist. Project of the Year" category in 2010, the famous witty and mischievous artists from the Recycle art group (artists Georgy Kuznetsov and Andrey Blohin). Their works are exhibited in museums and galleries in France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Belgium, both in solo exhibitions and as part of the Venice Biennale programs.
