Billie

This project, from the creators of the Soma restaurant, combines a passion for billiards, innovative cocktails, and delicious, indulgent food.

Located in a historic 19th-century building, Billie seamlessly blends the spirit of the past with modern design. Architect and designer Gosha Aigunyán has imbued each of the four rooms with its own unique character, while maintaining a common philosophy of minimalism, futurism, and playfulness. The main hall, with its three American pool tables, is a realm of clean lines, simple forms, and portals on the walls that transport you to a world on the border of fantasy and reality. The monochrome, gray dining room focuses on the food and drinks – the only sources of color in this space. A separate room features the first three-legged American pool table in Russia, with overhead lighting that creates a striking focal point throughout the space. And in the Russian billiards room, wooden panels on the walls and a massive table evoke the origins of the game, while still adhering to a modern minimalist aesthetic. The menu, created by Artem Chudnenko, follows a similar approach, balancing classic flavors with innovative techniques. The vibrant and memorable street food dishes bear the chef's distinctive mark, ranging from a classic Margarita to strips with salted caramel and Svan salt. There are plenty of dishes featuring dough and fried foods, as well as a few "healthier" options to lighten things up.
