About

The story of the North, told through the language of gastronomy.

Nord 22 embodies a philosophy of comfort and harmony, a cult of simplicity and openness. There is no excess here; lightness and ease reign supreme, both in the menu and in the details. The project's cuisine is overseen by young chef Alexander Loshinin from St. Petersburg, known for his work at Duoband. He has reinterpreted Northern cuisine, blending culinary traditions from around the world into a harmonious whole. The basic principles are seasonality and regular menu updates. Chef pastry chef Lyubov Plaksina ("Good Girl") has created her own interpretation of this gastronomic alliance, offering a classic apple pie with juniper ice cream, and a sage crème brûlée with sea buckthorn. The bar at Nord 22 tells a story in the style of Northern naturalists. Evgeny Efimov (formerly of "Sakhalin" and "Gorynych") uses berries, herbs, endemic plants, and other forgotten ingredients as the foundation of his creations. Beyond the doors of Nord 22 lies more than just a dining room. The St. Petersburg design bureau DA Bureau (Birch, Cococo bistro, Bio my Bio) has designed a "laboratory," incorporating logs, roots, moss, and a fire that, thanks to reflections in the metal, spreads throughout the space. The contrast between sterility and naturalness, between sharp lines and living natural materials, creates a feeling that everything around has been deliberately frozen, allowing each guest to personally immerse themselves in a fairytale called Nord 22. A world of shadows and contrasts. A world where every detail has meaning.
