About
Compact tables on patterned marble floors, like in a European bistro, and cozy lampshades with silk tassels, reminiscent of a country house outside Moscow – Muscovites want to experience both at once, and MoreCoffeeOcean by Erwin offers them that opportunity. Alexander Rappoport set out to solve an equation with many unknowns and answer the question of what a modern urban cafe should be. In his version, this format caters to a variety of needs: a vast coffee selection, a comfortable kitchen that focuses on flavor rather than complex combinations, attractive presentation, and fast service.
The cafe by the fountain in the central atrium of the popular "Evropeysky" shopping center offers trendy and accessible cuisine. Its menu reflects the gastronomic interests of Muscovites. It features seared tuna sashimi with lychee sauce (580 rubles) and salmon tartare with citrus sauce (760 rubles), a large green salad (580 rubles), and chicken noodle soup (360 rubles), turkey cutlets with braised spinach (520 rubles), and risotto with wild mushrooms and cheese sauce (720 rubles). No matter how unexpected or contradictory a person may be, at MoreCoffeeOcean by Erwin, they will definitely be able to find a lunch that suits their taste.
The cafe makes it easy to indulge in exotic flavors and discover which trendy gastronomic trends you are drawn to. A veggie ball with fried artichokes and crispy soybeans (420 rubles) is served alongside baked avocado with crab (820 rubles), Singapore noodles (580 rubles), and a local take on a popular street food – the shawarma. Lavash rolls are prepared with the most unusual fillings, from Peking duck (520 rubles) and chicken in curry sauce (450 rubles) to Kamchatka crab with cabbage, tobiko caviar, and sweet tomatoes (990 rubles). The "Cobb salad" with chicken, beef bacon, blue cheese, and tomatoes (690 rubles) plays the role of a "hidden gem" – a classic dish that is almost unfamiliar to Muscovites.
A special pride of MoreCoffeeOcean by Erwin is its coffee menu. Any classic coffee can be ordered with oat, coconut, almond, or lactose-free milk, and decaffeinated. The baristas use only 100% Arabica beans and only original varieties from specific regions. For example, the espresso made with El Salvador coffee from the Santa Ana region has a bright fruity aftertaste with a citrusy tang. The Brazilian "Carmo de Minas" will have notes of dark chocolate, hazelnuts, and dried fruits, the Ethiopian "Banko Halo" will offer mango, cherry, and cocoa flavors, and the Kenyan "Murue Ngurue" will provide hints of blackberry, mandarin, and rose. The Italian Dalla Corte coffee system, consisting of an espresso machine and grinder, delivers consistently high-quality coffee.
In addition to classic coffee, you can try alternative brewing methods such as pour-over (350 rubles) and cold brew (350 rubles). For the pour-over, you can choose from three single-origin coffees, while the cold brew is made with a Salvadoran "Kenya Bourbon" variety, fermented in cognac barrels. The extensive coffee drink menu offers a range of flavors, from dessert-like options (such as Red Velvet (350 rubles), Almond Cookie (350 rubles), and Berry Cheesecake (400 rubles)) to more subtle experiments (such as Vanilla Parmesan (400 rubles)) and coffee-based alcoholic cocktails (such as Irish Coffee (450 rubles) and Espresso & Martini (300 rubles)).
