About

A cozy and welcoming restaurant with a vibrant and theatrical service, offering cuisine from the Caucasus and the Middle East, combined with fusion elements, all set within a colorful and charming Georgian courtyard.

This delightful restaurant, "Lyulya-Lyubya," is nestled in the heart of the beautiful city of Perm. It stands out from other establishments with its unique, emotionally charged, and theatrical concept of hospitality. The core value that permeates the entire concept is the word "Lyubya!" This wonderful, kind, and generous feeling is expressed in everything: we greet our guests with warm and joyful smiles, generously offering homemade wine from oak barrels, fruits, candied fruits, and nuts upon arrival; and we bid farewell with author's infusions, desserts, and spices. Our servers and entertainers enthusiastically share stories of hospitality with our guests, recounting the history and legends behind traditional dishes, delivering heartfelt and cheerful toasts, telling funny and engaging stories (with a touch of wisdom), playing various games with our guests, and dancing as a team. As we say goodbye, we share a drink with our guests and embrace them warmly (the choreography is provided by choreographers, and the acting is performed by theater professionals). The kitchen and chefs, of course, create their signature and unparalleled "Lyulya" dishes with love and passion, combining ancient recipes from the Caucasus and the Middle East while adding modern, creative touches, and crafting fusion dishes with a contemporary interpretation of Eastern and Caucasian cuisine. For example, there are giant "Chebureki" (a type of savory pastry) with unusual fillings, ranging from juicy meats to more delicate flavors like mushroom julienne or cherry; and "Lagman Tom Yam," a unique combination of Asian and Eastern flavors. You'll also find "Kutaby" (thin pancakes) with pumpkin and ricotta, spinach and tarragon, and "Khachapuri Carbonara," a bold fusion of Eastern, Caucasian, and European cuisines. There's also a modern interpretation of the popular "Buuz" (steamed dumplings) from the Far East, filled with cheese, cilantro, and Caucasian salt, as well as with mushrooms. We also offer golden "Lодочки" (small boats), "Pide" (flatbread), and Ossetian pies, all baked fresh from the oven with various fillings. And, of course, our guests can enjoy wine from our own brand, author's infusions and lemonades made with natural ingredients, and homemade desserts that evoke the flavors of childhood.

Our interior and philosophy combine authentic elements from the Caucasus and the Middle East with a modern design and architectural aesthetic. The Caucasus region, with its rich history, has long served as a bridge between the East and the West, situated at the crossroads of trade routes between the Middle East and Europe. The countries of this region are known for their contrasts: from lively and endless feasts to unique and trendy movements, and from ancient, mysterious, and enchanting legends. We aim to showcase the southern charm, hospitality, trendy influences, and ancient traditions to our guests. For example, some of the unique elements of our interior include a bar crafted by artisans in the style of a concrete basement, with wine vessels ("kvevri," ancient vessels used for winemaking for thousands of years) embedded within it; tables made from uneven natural oak, topped with a lush garden of greenery and illuminated to resemble sunlight. There's also an original and interesting installation in the restrooms, featuring laundry hanging on clotheslines, made from real clothing (shirts, pants, socks, etc.) and coated with a durable decorative finish. At the entrance, a 5-meter-tall wine cabinet stands like a "giant," with a real oak barrel in the center, labeled "Wine Lyubya," from which wine flows freely for our cherished guests. The columns are designed to resemble trees in a garden, with natural leather framing the trunks and lush greenery with sunlight filtering through the tops. The open kitchen features a unique, handcrafted design with bright and colorful plates adorned with ethnic patterns painted by hand. A large natural rug with a vibrant ethnic pattern adorns one wall, while a projector displays modern and stylish images of mountains and beautiful natural landscapes on the opposite wall. A wood-burning stove next to a stained-glass window creates a cozy summer courtyard atmosphere, perfect for lingering with friends over wine. Our staff wears bright and colorful uniforms with elements inspired by Eastern and Caucasian patterns, combined with modern and comfortable designs (see photos and videos). The tables feature unique patterns and designs, and the furniture is both beautiful and unusual, with some pieces custom-made.

"Lyulya-Lyubya" is the beginning of a story that cannot be written alone, so we are writing it together with our guests. This story already includes genuine smiles, laughter, the sounds of lively gatherings, toasts, dancing, and real emotions.
