Lilo

The Lilo restaurant, serving Caucasian cuisine, opened in September with a vibrant celebration and quickly became a popular destination for residents and visitors of Rostov-on-Don. It has been fully booked since its opening day, with hundreds of stories posted weekly, thousands of guest photos on Instagram, and weekend reservations filling up by Tuesday. The menu is based on the chef's original interpretations of traditional Caucasian recipes, using locally sourced farm products. The restaurant's head chef, Izo Dzandzava, is the curator of the Georgian cuisine at Ginza Project. For Lilo, Izo selected bright and authentic Caucasian dishes, adapted some of them to use local ingredients, and added elements of Don cuisine. The spices that enhance the flavors of the dishes are made by the chef's mother. The interior of the main dining room resembles a Parisian brasserie. It features natural materials, original wall paintings, and numerous mirrors that add a sense of spaciousness. The main dining room of Lilo restaurant has 88 seats, and in warm weather, a luxurious green terrace-pergola with 100 seats is open. The total area of the restaurant is 300 square meters. Above the main dining room is a loft space called Gastrospace, equipped with mobile cooking stations and Neff appliances. Every week, it hosts cooking classes for children and adults, presentations, tastings, and private events. The warm atmosphere, authentic cuisine, unique interior, and a summer veranda overflowing with greenery have all contributed to Lilo becoming a culinary highlight in Rostov-on-Don.
