"Kalach, Karas, and Swedish Buns" is a modern establishment whose very name encapsulates the gastronomic and historical essence of the city, a concept familiar to every Tobolsk resident and intriguing to visitors of this ancient Siberian capital.

The cafe's menu is based on traditional Russian "kalachi" (a type of bread) with a variety of fillings, fried "karas" (a type of fish) – the most "Tobolsk" fish of all, and Swedish buns, the recipe of which, for some reason, took root in the Siberian land thanks to the Swedes captured by Peter the Great.
