The "Mark and Leo" restaurant began its journey in the Tula region and became the first "locavore" establishment in Russia – a restaurant that exclusively uses locally sourced ingredients. In 2015, the Tula project received a silver award for the "Palm Branch" award, recognizing it as the best new restaurant concept in the country.

Today, the "Mark and Leo" farm-to-table restaurant operates in the heart of Siberia, at the crossroads of thousands of ancient routes connecting Europe and Asia, from east to west and from north to south – in Tobolsk. In the first capital of Siberia, the restaurant team, like a curious scientist, carefully explores the region with all its precious diversity: cultural, historical, and gastronomic. The foundation of this gastronomic exploration lies in the principles of respecting traditions, seasonality and locality of ingredients, environmental sustainability, and responsible consumption.

Delving into the depths of centuries, into the history of the taiga region, the era of the Yermak expeditions and the reforms of Peter the Great, the chefs reconstruct and reinterpret the culinary traditions of Siberia, creating a new language of Russian regional cuisine.
