HACHIKO

A cozy Japanese bar-grill for friends, in the style of a traditional Japanese "inaka" restaurant.

HACHIKO is a stylish Japanese bar-grill located on Pyatnitskaya Street. "Hachiko" is a unique Japanese bar-grill, offering a completely new concept for Moscow: a traditional Japanese "inaka" restaurant. Under the guidance of renowned Japanese chef Katsuhiko Kobayashi, the chefs prepare dishes right in front of the guests. Every lunch and dinner at "Hachiko" is a small culinary performance, showcasing the best traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun. Guests can sit at a long table along the open kitchen and watch as fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, and mushrooms are grilled on a traditional Japanese "robata" grill. They can also witness the preparation of salmon with ginger and cucumber, tuna, salmon, and octopus tartare, "donburi" rice bowls, sushi rolls, and the signature "Hachiko" roll, which is wrapped in cucumber. The prepared dishes are served to the tables using long wooden spatulas, just like in traditional Japanese "inaka" restaurants. The collection of Japanese sake, whiskeys, and gins at "Hachiko" is one of the best in the city. However, the signature cocktails created by the dedicated mixologist Kenan Assaba deserve special attention. The spicy "Ichi," the authentic "San," and the complex "Jyu," served with real Japanese "iye" (a type of seaweed), are just a few of the cocktails that will transport you to the atmosphere of old Tokyo, with all its contrasts and tranquility. The design of the bar space was created by architect Valery Lizunov and his firm, Archpoint. The interior features eco-friendly, natural, and authentic materials, including solid oak, leather, and traditional Japanese tiles that adorn an entire wall. The crackling coals in the "robata" grill, the warm lighting, and the pleasant music create a cozy atmosphere at "Hachiko," perfect for meeting good and loyal friends. Just like Hachiko, the famous Akita Inu dog – a symbol of loyalty and devotion in Japan – whose image is featured on the bar's logo.
