About

Champagne bar with an outstanding variety of sparkling wines by the glass and exemplary bistro cuisine.

The Champ bistro, created by restaurateur Larisa Mamedova, is undoubtedly intended to be a gathering place for lovers of gastronomy and, most importantly, the quintessential bohemian drink. Located in a historic building that once housed the patronage of Vera Firsanova, this venue seems to draw on the spirit of pre-revolutionary Moscow evenings, reinterpreting and telling a new story about a love for good wines, unusual food, and a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to return to Champ again and again.

The concept is based on offering a wide range of champagnes to suit every taste and budget, from familiar and comforting options to exclusive vintages for special occasions. With over 30 options of champagne, wines, and sparkling wines by the glass, this is a rarity even for the capital city, and a true surprise for food enthusiasts. In total, the wine list features over 150 labels, which will be regularly updated to introduce guests to new names and wineries. According to sommelier Sergei Kirillov, in addition to the "smart buy" selections, guests will be able to try true gems that are either available at Champ or directly from the producer.

For those who prefer cocktails over wine, a special cocktail menu has been developed by the bar team, led by Ilya Ivanenko. The focus is on aperitif-style drinks, with herbal and floral notes, fresh fruits, and berries.

However, at Champ, it's not just about drinking; it's also about eating. The menu is based on the philosophy of French cuisine, which has given rise to the concept of "bistronomy," allowing for the combination of techniques from renowned chefs with the speed and pricing of a bistro. As a result, Moscow will have another outstanding project with a meticulously crafted menu, thanks to brand chef Taras Kirienko and head chef Arina Zhuravleva. The emphasis is on classic French techniques using traditional local ingredients, which is more relevant than ever. This commitment to local sourcing extends beyond the kitchen and into the dining room as well. The interior design was created by the team of Ivan Grekov from the architectural firm KAMEN, who were able to create the furniture and all the decorative elements in collaboration with Russian manufacturers.
