A seafood restaurant with a themed interior and a wide selection of dishes, from Far Eastern delicacies to "Koryushka" from the Leningrad region.
"Barents" is a seafood bar with affordable prices and Mediterranean cuisine. The interior design is clear and interesting. In the main hall, there is a large mural depicting two fish, painted by the Nizhny Novgorod artist Natalia Lapteva. The furniture maintains a nautical theme: chairs are a bright blue, sofas are a soft beige, and the tables are made of light wood. The walls are adorned with paintings and decorations with a marine theme. Special attention should be paid to the bar, which is decorated with handmade turquoise Turkish tiles. A colorful mosaic screen greets guests at the entrance.
The restaurant's unique feature is the musical atmosphere. Bands like "Kino," "Lyapis Trubetskoy," Zemfira, Bi-2, and Splin, along with other Russian artists, create a special ambiance.
The "Barents" menu features fresh New Zealand oysters, the most delicate Opilio crabs, and Murmansk northern shrimp served on ice, which are a first for the Nizhny Novgorod restaurant scene. You'll also find classic mussels in white wine, mussels in Gorgonzola sauce, baked Pacific flounder, Volga sturgeon, and sea bass. We also offer sushi and rolls. For dessert, we offer traditional Belgian waffles with homemade ice cream and strawberry sauce, as well as "Prague" cake and "Tiramisu." Lunch at "Barents" is served in both Japanese and European styles.
