The new gastrobar "Alchemist" is a magical combination of gastronomy, interior design, and atmosphere, where everyone can feel like they're in a fairytale and experience Arctic cuisine.

We present a new gastronomic project in the center of Moscow – the gastrobar "Alchemist." The restaurateur, Yana Savenkova, envisioned the space as a magical combination of gastronomy, interior design, and atmosphere, where everyone can feel like they're in a fairytale. The concept of the menu is an anthology of gastronomic "spells," with new volumes being added over time. The first volume, titled "Northern Radiance," features Arctic cuisine with impressive combinations of ingredients. The main "alchemists" in the kitchen are the renowned concept chef, Vitaly Tikhonov (restaurants MOS, Cacciatore, G.Graf), and the young and talented chef, Maxim Matyuzhov. The menu includes several dishes featuring reindeer: reindeer pâté with pickled cranberries, walnuts, and white mushrooms (690 rubles), reindeer carpaccio with cranberries and shallots (1100 rubles), potato soup with dried reindeer and duck (550 rubles), reindeer loin with braised celery, a pine cone and blackcurrant sauce (2100 rubles). Dishes with Kamchatka crab include: a polar bun with Kamchatka crab (920 rubles), onion soup with Kamchatka crab and sea urchin caramel (750 rubles), a "raspeboller" (a type of pastry) with crab and smoked salmon roe with a creamy sauce (530 rubles). There are also duck salad (610 rubles), Far Eastern scallop ceviche (960 rubles), stuffed squid (870 rubles), and polenta (760 rubles). Each dish is like a magic spell: a nearly mystical combination of flavors, a memorable presentation, and a journey to one or more countries in the Arctic. Another "alchemist" at the bar is the head bartender, Sergei Petrov. Sergei creates magic behind the bar, boldly "conjuring" cocktails. Everything is captivating here: the unusual combinations, the unique glasses, and the fantastic special effects when serving! And all this is at a single price of 750 rubles per drink. Each cocktail reveals something new and unexplored, referencing a fairytale or folk wisdom. For example, the "Andamu" cocktail (apple distillate, gin, Altai herbs, and an apple, oregano, sage, fennel seed, and celery cordial) is served in the shape of a yellow apple, as it tells a Karelian folk tale where a young man, in search of his destiny, meets a wizard who gives him a gift (Andamu) – a simple yellow apple – a symbol of wisdom. The "Salvia" cocktail (gin, rowan and pink pepper bitters, citrus liqueur, and white vermouth) is served with smoldering sage and references a folk tale about a beautiful woman who was in love with the healer Salvia, but the jealous fire could not accept it and consumed the couple. The "Yavmal" cocktail (berry distillates, gin, cloudberry cordial, homemade spice liqueur) is served in a glass with an eye at the bottom, representing the all-seeing eye of the ruler of the sea. Walking along the familiar Tverskaya-Yamskaya street, you don't expect miracles. But the panoramic windows of "Alchemist," with their shimmering glow, persistently remind you that they exist. Inside, like in a fairytale cave, you can see crystals and rocks hanging from the ceiling, and glowing stones. The crackling of a fire comes from a large boulder, and from the lower floor, you can hear the voices of "mages" whispering their spells, or perhaps it's just the songs of those who, like all of us, are searching for the "philosopher's stone," but can't seem to find it. In the atmosphere created by architect Sergei Kovalev, the entire team of passionate "alchemists" works every day to ensure that people in a big city don't forget that reality is magic!
