Alenka

About

"Alenka" is now not only the most famous chocolate brand in the country, but also a coffee shop chain that aims to win the hearts of Muscovites of all generations.

The project team has combined tradition, modernity, and warm childhood memories, embodying them in the flavors of signature drinks and desserts. The little girl in the headscarf has been given a new look under the guidance of the Artemy Lebedev Studio. Two flagship locations with a new menu and branding – on Strastnoy Boulevard and Tverskaya Street – are already welcoming guests.

Signature drinks with the taste of childhood, desserts from the best pastry chefs, and breakfast served all day – all of this is now "Alenka." The drink menu features familiar names: "Goose Paw" Latte, "Snowball," "Citron," and "Bears in the Forest" (350 rubles). Any of these options can be prepared with alternative milk, or you can order it to go and take away a beautiful blue cup to enjoy on your way.

Ekaterina Vereshagina, a certified judge of the Russian Barista Championships and the Russian champion "Coffee and Good Spirits," is responsible for the coffee menu. Under her guidance, the "Alenka" coffee shop chain uses a signature espresso blend from the specialty coffee segment. Currently, these are "Santa Maria" beans from Brazil, naturally processed. "Alenka" also offers a cocoa selection based on chocolate from "Amazing Cacao," including "Classic" cocoa, "Shokonzu" with citrus notes, "Borodinsky Bread," and the spicy "Chili Pepper." For tea lovers, there is a wide selection of options from the "Nitka" brand.

The dessert menu for the new coffee shops was developed by the former team of Jinju bakery. For example, "Alenka's Roman Holiday" (350 rubles) is a maritozzo bun with chocolate cream and a "Roth Front" chocolate bar, or the "Halva in Chocolate" cake (320 rubles) – a vibrant representation of a "collaboration" of flavors from different countries, eras, and generations.

You can visit "Alenka" not only for desserts but also for breakfast or brunch. Delicate syrniki (cheese pancakes) with cream from clarified butter and a blackcurrant sauce (350 rubles), a hearty scrambled eggs with prosciutto, toast, arugula, and Parmesan (420 rubles), a crispy croissant with lightly salted salmon (390 rubles), a quinoa salad with a nutty dressing (370 rubles), and other dishes are served throughout the day.

The interior of the coffee shops is designed in a "retro" style with vintage decorative elements and furniture. The musical atmosphere was created by one of the most popular DJs in Moscow and the brand's music director, Dmitry Fomichev.
