About
Vladimir is originally from Moscow. At the age of 16, he started working at a small Italian restaurant in the center of Moscow called "Verona," under the direction of an Italian chef. For about 7 years, he served as the sous chef at the renowned Italian restaurant Pinocchio, working under the famous chef Luca Verdolini. Vladimir also worked at the Bulldozer Group, including at the Eastern cuisine restaurant Zoloto and the entertainment complex China Gold (in Astana).
The chefs at the "Velvet" restaurant are inspired by three culinary directions: smokers and grills, Italian classics, and Pan-Asian cuisine. "Everything starts with order," is the personal motto of Chef Vladimir Steiner.
