About
Catello was born into a creative family. At the age of 12, he began working as a pizza chef in Naples, Italy, while still attending school. He then completed internships and worked in many renowned restaurants around the world before being invited to Moscow. At 19, he graduated from architectural school, but instead of going to university, he moved to the town of Positano to start working at the Covo Dei Saraceni hotel restaurant. He began there as a pizza chef and later moved on to working in the cold kitchen and other departments. The chef arranged for Cattello to do an internship at the Ristorante L'Altro Relais (two Michelin stars). There, in just one year, the future head chef of Assunta Madre worked in every section of the kitchen, including the pastry section, pasta preparation, and hot dishes. After that, Cattello Sansone worked in various positions at several other Michelin-starred restaurants. In 2015, he became the sous chef at Assunta Madre in Milan, and for several years, he headed the kitchen of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, a five-star hotel in Sorrento. Later, Cattello Sansone was invited to join the Moscow Assunta Madre project by its owners.
