Ilya began his career at "Petrovsky Prichal" in Rostov-on-Don in 2003. 2004-2005: "Tinkoff" restaurant, Chef (Sochi). He then engaged in extensive learning, including books, online resources, seminars, and training programs. 2005-2006: "Club A" restaurant, Chef (Sochi). 2006-2007: Grand hotel & Spa "RODINA" 5*, Senior Chef (Sochi). 2007-2009: "Oblomov" restaurant, Head Chef (Rostov-on-Don). 2009-2010: Hotel & Spa "Old House" 5*, Head Chef (Rostov-on-Don). "Old House" was recognized as the best mini-hotel and restaurant complex in Russia by the Russian edition of Forbes, achieving first place in its category (out of 16 categories) in a competition organized by the Russian Ministry of Tourism. 2010-2014: Restaurants "Bukovsky," "Farsh," and "Fartuk," Brand Chef (Rostov-on-Don). 2014: Grand hotel & Spa "RODINA" 5*, Brand Chef (Sochi). 2015-2016: Restaurants "BIGGIE" and "Funky Food," Head Chef (Moscow). 2017-2018: Managing Partner of "Ivlev Group" (opening and managing restaurants). Since 2022, he has been leading the kitchen at the Sapiens restaurant, which was recognized in the first guide by Yandex Ultima (2023) and has received numerous awards from the BreakFest breakfast festival. In 2023, he opened the premium lounge bar MAGMA in Moscow City.
He was born on April 17, 1984, in Rostov-on-Don. Ilya essentially grew up in the kitchen; his grandmother was a chef throughout her life, so he fell in love with the atmosphere of delicious food and aromas. He graduated from the Rostov Cooperative Technical College with a degree in food service technology.
