Andrey Matyukha is a chef, the author, and co-owner of the restaurants The Pech, Ugli-Ugli, and Plemya in Krasnodar, which are regularly featured in restaurant rankings. His culinary focus is on cuisine with a Kuban (Southern Russian) flavor. He has been a participant and winner of numerous international culinary competitions, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals. He was the winner of the Russian stage of the prestigious Bocuse d'Or culinary competition in 2017 and represented Russia at Bocuse d'Or Europe in 2018. Since 2020, he has been the president of the Russian Bocuse d'Or team.
