About

"Veriko" is inspired by modern Georgia: vibrant, bold, and constantly evolving. The concept chef, Nikita Rendino, creates dishes like pear pkhali, mini khinkali with a "cacio e pepe" sauce, sea bass with "jondjoli" sauce, and "pelamushi" reimagined as a cheesecake.

Veriko Andjapariidze is a legend of Georgian theater and cinema, not just an actress, but a symbol of cultural and national heritage. This time, she's not in front of a movie camera, but "framed" by Georgian director and restaurateur, Tornike Khukhu.

The style of "Veriko" is subtly cinematic. The interior, unlike typical ethnic restaurants, features hidden, intimate bars and is adorned with striking symbols: delicate floral patterns, a painted oven in the open kitchen, a chandelier shaped like a cluster of pomegranates, and a painting above the sculptural bar. And there's so much light streaming through the panoramic windows, as if you can truly see the sunny Tbilisi just beyond. The menu represents modern Georgia. The creator of the traditional Georgian restaurants "Yeli Sacibeli" and "Oda" this time showcases the country as a home to trendy designers, popular singers and DJs, independent cinema, and artisanal winemaking. It's not about preserving old, unchanging recipes, but about a vibrant and bold culinary experience. Here, you can find dishes like pear pkhali and miniature khinkali with "cacio e pepe" sauce, "jondjoli" transformed into a sauce for sea bass, and "pelamushi" reimagined as a cheesecake. Even classic dishes are presented with an elegant, European flair.

The wine list, featuring a collection from artisanal Georgian wineries, was curated by sommelier Sasha Yuferova (Real Authentic Wine). The desserts were created by Mikhail Murzin, a graduate of the London Le Cordon Bleu. Under the guidance of an experienced team, the chefs – Maxim Kozma and Irakli Chelidze – carefully plated the dishes, which were designed specifically for "Veriko" based on sketches by the renowned designer, Alexander Zaks. The interior design was created by the "Krivtsova and Redina" design studio.
