The UVA restaurant opened its doors for the first time on March 22, 2023. This was a challenging and uncertain time for the country, making the opening of a family-friendly restaurant essential for upholding values and boosting the morale of residents and visitors to St. Petersburg. The warmth of Italian hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, lively gatherings, and the bright southern sun – these were the inspirations behind the UVA concept. A piece of Italy in the heart of St. Petersburg, where you can come for an aperitif, a large family dinner, or a leisurely Sunday brunch. Each dish is a recipe born in the hearts of Italians, and we have adapted them to local Russian ingredients, preserving all the best qualities: amazing combinations of simple ingredients, delicate aromas, and juicy flavors for true connoisseurs of Italian cuisine in Russia's northern capital. The restaurant's head chef, Nikita Sechen, has reinterpreted traditional recipes using local Russian products, creating simple and understandable flavor combinations.
