Terra – The Magic Place begins to work its magic from the moment you begin the ascent along the road that climbs from Sarentino to an altitude of 1622 metres, winding through beech and fir woods. The restaurant is situated on a sunny alpine pasture with breathtaking views of the Dolomites, where the Schneider family has transformed the chalet built in 1940 by their grandfather Johann into a place that is truly unique. The gastronomic experience unfolds through à la carte dishes and an elaborate tasting menu, featuring little masterpieces of aesthetics and taste: the emulsion of brown trout with dill, chamomile and heather jelly is a revelation, as are the spaghetti made with beetroot, yeast flour and yarrow. The wine list – which also includes alcohol-free options – is lovingly curated by Gisela, the chef's sister. For those who wish to prolong the magic, the secluded resort completes a truly unforgettable experience.
