About

An elegant bistro in the traditional French style, opened by Artem Karisalov, who is now "happily married."

Sugar bistro is Artem Karisalov's first gastronomic project, located on Filippovsky Lane, between Arbat and Prechistenka. The minimalist and elegant interior of the French bistro is complemented by meaningful details, such as starched white tablecloths, handmade tableware made from Japanese porcelain, and photographs from the Lumière Gallery. These include Nikolai Filippov's "First-Class Student," symbolizing the project's youth and the exciting debut of its creator, and Vladimir Lagrange's "Twist." The wall of the basement floor is adorned with a picturesque panel by the artist Alexei Shigalov, who interpreted the context and presented Filippovsky Lane and its surroundings as a collective image-collage.

However, the most important thing in the restaurant remains honest food, prepared with respect for tradition and love. That's how you cook for friends! The kitchen is headed by Konstantin Antipin, the chef who focuses on the quality of the ingredients and the balance of flavors. The menu features delicious and beautiful comfort food for everyday enjoyment: beef tartare with toast, octopus carpaccio, vongole stew, Vesuvius pasta with truffle, Aqua Pazza fish, San Sebastian cheesecake, and panna cotta with fresh berries.
