About
Stepanashka, Khryusha, Filya, and Karkusha continue to uphold family traditions, bringing families together around the table just as they did in front of the television for the past 60 years.
The "Spoki" family restaurant is located at 9 Tsvetnoy Boulevard, just a stone's throw from a favorite spot for children—the Moscow Circus. The restaurant's concept is based on the television program "Good Night, Kids!," which, by the way, has long had a spin-off, "Good Morning, Kids!". The interior designers drew inspiration from the iconic "claymation" opening sequence. On the summer terrace, which opened in 2023 along with the restaurant, guests can "ride the moon" with Stepanashka and Khryusha. From the moment they step inside, visitors are transported to a "fairytale evening": the walls, furniture, lighting fixtures, decorative pillows, even the railings and mirror frames, seem to be sculpted from clay by children's hands, and familiar "claymation" bells "sway" in the windows.
The designers at the Archpoint bureau, led by Valery Lizunov, managed to capture the essence of the television program, blending childhood and adult themes. The bright dining room symbolizes the evening when children are preparing for sleep. The darker room, in shades of blue and terracotta, represents the night when little ones are ready to dream. The first room features standard dining arrangements, a table for master classes, and a themed photo booth depicting the "Good Night, Kids!" studio. The second room focuses on a large kitchen island (show kitchen) where culinary master classes are held for both children and adults. And for those with a sweet tooth, there's a "creamy" bar, its facade seemingly covered in cream or marshmallow. Children can order a non-alcoholic cocktail or, standing on the "creamy" step, choose their own dessert from the pastry display, which is prepared by pastry chef Anastasia Konovalova. Adult guests can browse the bar menu, which features both classic drinks and signature cocktails.
The restaurant's brand chef, Carlo Greku, offers guests a menu of author's cuisine with Italian influences and comforting dishes from childhood, enhanced with fresh flavors. Young guests can enjoy meatball "Chupa-Chups," "caramel" made from oxtail, or fluffy patties with mashed potatoes, just like "at grandma's" from the children's menu.
For those who enjoy a delicious breakfast, the restaurant offers buckwheat "carbonara," shakshuka with roasted eggplant and garam masala, and baked cheese pancakes with coconut condensed milk. The main menu features dishes such as Roman-style salmon with zucchini, octopus stew with summer vegetables, and braised beef cheeks with truffle mashed potatoes. For starters, the chef recommends authentic options like chicken liver mousse with crispy cherries, carpaccio of braised beef, or a "Niçoise" salad with lightly salted salmon. The gastronomic experience can be perfectly concluded with a dessert inspired by "Good Night, Kids!": for example, "Karkusha's Nest" with chocolate and passion fruit, or "Lego" panna cotta with seasonal berries and condensed milk sauce. And a small childhood pleasure—fluffy cotton candy—is prepared right in the restaurant and offered to each child as a complimentary treat, but only with the permission of their parents.
At the "Spoki" restaurant, guests will feel surrounded by care and attention, as each visitor is treated like a member of a large, friendly family. On weekends, the restaurant hosts meet-and-greets with the real stars of the "Good Night, Kids!" program—the very characters from television—and each guest has the opportunity to personally interact with one of their favorite childhood characters.
