The trip to the Hegar family's restaurant just outside Bonndorf is definitely worth it! Nestled in a quiet valley, surrounded by woods and meadows, the setting could not be more idyllic. There's an inviting terrace, but you can also enjoy the view from inside. The cuisine is regional and seasonal, including French and Mediterranean influences. The dishes are meticulously crafted and packed with flavour. Great care is taken to source ingredients. The wine list showcases a number of gems from the region, with a special emphasis on Baden Burgundy – the selection of half bottles is excellent. In the hotel of the same name, there are cosy, modern guestrooms and a beautiful sauna house, plus a natural swimming pond. And so that you can really unplug and unwind, there's no Wi-Fi or mobile phone reception!
