CLOSED "Phoobia" offers a total of 7 different types of pho. In addition to the classic beef pho (pho bo) and chicken pho (pho ga), they also serve pho with beef meatballs, a red pho with braised meat, a vegetarian option, and two particularly authentic versions: pho with goat meat and a classic Hanoi-style pho with a complex broth, considered the standard in Vietnam. All the soups are made with fresh noodles, not dried ones, and are served in generous portions of 1200 ml. The usual accompaniments and toppings – limes, herbs, chili peppers, sauces – are displayed on a counter in front of the open kitchen, just like in a good eatery in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Customers can take what they want and as much as they want. The atmosphere at "Phoobia" combines the casualness and accessibility of a market with the service and comfort of a restaurant. Guests can expect the signature bright and ironic interior design of "Rappoport Restaurants," a large open kitchen, and a very democratic pricing policy: the average bill at "Phoobia" is lower than many other Vietnamese establishments that seem much more affordable.
