Pekarnya
About
"Pekarnya" is a ceramics studio and an experimental platform for chefs. Located in the former Balakirev button factory, the production facility was opened by Nailya Izmailova and Denis Bobkov, the creators of the bars Bambule, Botafogo, Hitachi, and the pubs Black Swan and Abbey Players. The space of "Pekarnya" is designed in the style of their previous projects, featuring vintage furniture and carefully restored elements of the factory's original architecture. The workshop produces tableware for restaurants and collaborates with chefs to create limited-edition collections. Each month, "Pekarnya" invites a chef to create a collection of tableware together and host a dinner for guests at a chef's table right in the production facility. The tradition was started by Artem Mukhin, the brand chef of the bars Bambule, Botafogo, Hitachi, and the pubs Black Swan and Abbey Players. Subsequently, collaborative collections were created with leading chefs in Moscow, including Dan Miron from Niki, Georgy Troyan from "Severian" and "Zhirka," and Evgeny Vikentiev from "Beluga," among others. All the tableware is available for purchase with delivery throughout Moscow and the surrounding regions. In addition to the limited-edition collections, there is a wide selection of their own tableware for all occasions. A large and creative team of artists, sculptors, potters, and molders at "Pekarnya" can fulfill any large or small creative order. The project has its own production of glazes and ceramic materials, so production speed is not dependent on external suppliers.
