"Nachalo" (The Beginning) is a brand new bar from the team behind LEO Wine & Kitchen, one of the most acclaimed restaurants in the south, led by Maxim Lyubimov, Sergey Podporin, and Alexey Skidan. It's designed for people who share similar values, who are free from stereotypes, and who appreciate the diversity of world culture. Located in a hidden spot on Moscow Street, a historic street that was once the heart of social life in old Rostov, it's now a leading center for avant-garde bar culture in the city.

The industrial-style space is balanced by a warm lighting scheme, abundant wood, and plants. The open kitchen and bar set the pace for everything that happens – there's always a buzz of activity, like in the bustling streets of Eastern cities. The menu is inspired by the cuisine of the Middle East: this crossroads between Europe, Asia, and Africa was the birthplace of civilization, and therefore, the origin of all gastronomy. Now, Chef Maxim Lyubimov brings these flavors to life in his kitchen. The menu features dishes like lamb shawarma and kebab with muhammara, mackerel with chaat masala, beef tartare with sheep's cheese and kataifi celery, samosas with chicken, burek with lamb and baharat, and a selection of mezes.

The bartenders, led by Kirill Olegovich Grushin, who is known from the opening of the legendary Moscow bar Strelka, have created a menu of seasonal cocktails and innovative twists on classic drinks – "Gin and tonic with feijoa and cardamom," "Pomegranate, dates, Sudanese rose, and sparkling wine," "Jasmine, masala, and rum." A special collection of gins and whiskeys will be constantly expanding. And at the helm of the wine list is sommelier Sergey Podporin, who offers aromatic wines, orange wines, and pet-nats – all perfectly complementing the flavorful cuisine.
