About

A modern bistro in the seaport, located near pier number 8, with a design inspired by Soviet-era cafes and food prepared using three types of grills.

NN.8 is a modern seaside bistro with a unique culinary concept and views of the Sochi yacht marina. Located in the heart of Sochi, at 3 Nesebskaya Street, near pier number 8 of the Marine Station, a new gastronomic space has opened: the seaside bistro NN.8. This is more than just a restaurant; it's a gathering place for residents, tourists, and anyone who appreciates quality food, a comfortable atmosphere, and panoramic views of the sea, yachts, and sunsets. The name NN.8 is directly related to its unique location: N stands for Nesebskaya Street, N stands for Naberezhnaya (Embankment), and 8 refers to pier number 8. It also symbolizes the endless movement, freshness, and freedom that permeates the philosophy of the establishment. NN.8 is designed as a bridge between the past and the present. The interior, with its vintage touches, evokes memories of the golden age of the Soviet resort, while soft music and modern service create a cozy atmosphere where it's easy to forget the hustle and bustle. Here, warm memories of family trips, carefree days by the sea, and the southern sun come to life – all of which make Sochi so familiar and beloved. The head chef is Denis Krupnya, one of the most prominent figures in modern gastronomy, known for his projects that have been featured in the Michelin Guide and listed among the 50 best restaurants in Russia by WHERETOEAT. At NN.8, Denis presents a signature menu where three types of ovens play a key role: a Josper oven, an Argentinian grill, and a wood-fired oven. Almost all the dishes are prepared over an open flame, and the bread is baked by hand. The menu is based on seafood (approximately 60%), as well as meat, vegetables, and farm-fresh produce. This is comfort food taken to a new level, created with respect for the ingredients, the fire, and the flavor. The interior of the project was created by Darya Makarova, the founder of the architectural firm studia 21.12, known for her successful restaurant projects in Moscow and Sochi. NN.8 is located in a historic area, near the Marine Station, a landmark of Sochi. The space reflects the spirit of Soviet grand cafes: simplicity, functionality, and comfort. At the same time, the interior remains modern thanks to metal accents, lighting, and thoughtful design. The decorative elements – tiles, furniture, textures – evoke a sense of nostalgia and create a bridge between the past and the present, making the restaurant accessible and comfortable for guests of all generations.
