M&V: Comfortable food, a historic location, and literary touches. The restaurant's concept is based on the popular "comfort food" trend, with a focus on meat dishes.

The address, Mars Field, 7, is well-known to those interested in the history and culture of the northern capital. The imposing Adamini House housed the "Comedians' Rest" cabaret from 1916 to 1919. This period was filled with significant historical events: the revolution, World War I, and the transition from the established bourgeois imperial order to a new "people's" system. These events shaped the cabaret's repertoire. The project's head chef, Yuri Lobov, a graduate of the SВЧ culinary school, approached the location's rich history with respect. The eclectic events of that time are reflected in the M&V menu, which draws on traditional Russian cuisine and its delicacies that became popular in the early 20th century in St. Petersburg's fashionable restaurants. By reinterpreting familiar dishes and using French cooking techniques, the chef offers a new perspective on what might seem like familiar dishes and appetizers.

The bar menu was entrusted to Evgeny Urbanov, known in St. Petersburg for projects such as the Xander bar, the Arka bar, and the "Geography" restaurant and bar. In addition to classic bestsellers, Evgeny developed a collection of signature cocktails called "Stargazer" specifically for the project. Ten drinks are inspired by the lives and works of the stars of the "Comedians' Rest" cabaret and embody the spirit and mood of the classics of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The cocktails play on a range of traditional Russian flavors and reinterpret popular classic drinks.
