KURORT

A nostalgic bar, inspired by experiences from vacations in Abkhazia and old Soviet resorts.

"Kurort" is a bar project by Sergey Gaspаrov (GASK Bro group). The restaurateur realized that Moscow was lacking a place that evoked the feeling of the resorts where he spent his childhood – in Pitsunda, Yalta, Gagra, Sochi, Sukhumi, and Kislovodsk. The interior recreates the atmosphere of a Soviet sanatorium. The main idea and concept of the cuisine is delicious and familiar Soviet food. By combining classic recipes with modern gastronomic trends, they have created a true kaleidoscope of dishes from Soviet cuisine. All dishes are perfectly complemented by a variety of homemade infusions. The bar menu also features various distilled spirits, moonshine, liqueurs, and bitters. The cuisine of "Kurort" is a journey into the world of Soviet gastronomy, where the traditions of Russian and Black Sea cuisine are combined. The concept is based on three principles: authenticity, quality, and atmosphere. The menu includes classic recipes from Soviet canteens and bars, and is complemented by modern bar trends: signature infusions, simple snacks made with familiar and beloved "home-style" ingredients, appetizers, and set lunches consisting of a first course, a second course, a third course, and a fruit compote. Special attention is paid to chebureks – a signature dish of "Kurort." The dough is made according to a traditional recipe, with the addition of vodka, and the fillings include both classic options (beef, lamb) and авторские variations (potatoes and mushrooms, cheese, julienne). Each portion is prepared fresh to order and served hot and crispy. "Kurort" has 50 seats. The project was designed by Kostya Belyaev, the designer behind the bar cluster "Profsoyuz," the bar "Mentalitet," and the bar-tavern "Komnata Otdykha." The marble bar, arched walls, an abundance of tropical greenery, and a large grill in the hall transport you back to the warm, carefree days of childhood for the project's creators. It is safe to say that "KURORT" on Novoslobodskaya is the most beautiful bar in Moscow. Add to that the friendly staff and stylish mirrors, and it becomes clear that even in our time, you can experience the atmosphere of the "resorts" of the distant 1980s. In "Kurort" on Novoslobodskaya, the interior design features clean lines, a spacious and bright hall with large arched windows, a tiled floor, and recreates the atmosphere of the lobby of a luxurious Soviet hotel somewhere in Crimea or Sochi – and evokes that very feeling of the first day of vacation, when, after a long journey on a stuffy train, you finally take a breath of fresh southern air and find yourself surrounded by palm trees.
