"Yesterday and Forever" is an elegant and historically rich space, inspired by the "thaw" period, Soviet modernist architecture, the New Wave film movement, and the poetry of the 1960s. The bar features furniture and interior design elements from the 1950s-1970s, a style known in design history as "mid-century." The interior design concept was developed by Olga Voldaykina, a restaurateur and interior designer. Her signature style involves working with vintage furniture and historical references. The cocktail menu was created by Taras Zavalyuk, the "Bartender of the Year" in Russia according to the Where2drink awards. Igor Kuzmichev, the creator of the Telegram channel "There Was Mike," dedicated to the culture of Leningrad in the 1960s-1980s, compiled a list of prominent figures in the Leningrad art scene of that time, along with interesting facts about their culinary preferences. Based on these stories, Taras Zavalyuk created a cocktail concept dedicated to the representatives of the Leningrad underground.
