Set within the car-free enclave of Oberlech, Burg Vital Resort is home to this stylish wood-panelled restaurant. In the small open kitchen, Sebastian Jakob (formerly of Schloss Ellmau) and his team create flavoursome dishes using outstanding ingredients and incorporating a judicious and intriguing Japanese twist. One example: wonderfully tender and succulent langoustine served with a mildly spicy cream of wasabi greens, delicately flavoured edamame, lightly smoked eel and an elegant, frothy shellfish sauce. A knowledgeable sommelier is on hand to guide you through the seemingly endless wine cellar, with around 4 500 labels! A nice touch: The individual ingredients of the set menu are presented to you before you eat.
