The "GES-2" restaurant metaphorically represents a temple of art, welcoming gastronomy and coexisting with it in synergy.

The "gt" holding became a restaurant partner of "GES-2" last year and is actively working on its culinary aspects. The gastronomic enrichment continues: now there is one more place to discuss impressions of the exhibitions. The executive chef of this long-awaited project is Régis Trigot, the head chef is Ilya Bonaparte, and the brand pastry chef of the holding, Alexei Bratashov, is responsible for the desserts. A special cocktail menu was developed by the bar "Insider" (#13 in The World's 50 Best Bars 2021), which is also part of the "gt" holding. The cuisine focuses on comfort food, with a strong Italian influence. The Italian influences also serve as a tribute to the work of architect Renzo Piano, who developed the key design for the renovation of the House of Culture. As a graduate of the traditional French school and a Frenchman, executive chef Régis Trigot rightly focused on sauces, and as a renowned aesthete, he created artistic presentations that are appropriate for the location. The interior of the project is in perfect harmony with the concept of the House of Culture and avoids any unnecessary visual or informational noise. The incredibly high ceilings, delicate lamps, and arched windows, through which fragments of the landscape can be seen, further emphasize the vastness of the space. The striking furniture serves as a vibrant accent – the grassy-green hues of the Eburet designer stools and side tables, 3D-printed from recycled plastic, not only attract attention but also reflect the principles of sustainable development. The green color was chosen to match the former crane located above the entrance to the bar area of the restaurant. Otherwise, the space is a harmoniously neutral backdrop of various shades of light gray, ready to embrace any form of art. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with realistic paintings by Yegor Plotnikov, whose style, according to Elina Tabidze, one of the owners of the holding, is "a portal to memories of time spent in nature, capable of harmonizing and energizing." The images of the industrial era and the natural world, which have been contrasted for centuries, have found harmony in the new GES-2, and the white "subtractions" from the landscapes in the paintings focus the viewer's attention on fragments of the landscape, and by concealing part of it, help us recall the whole. The holding was founded in 2016, and since 2022, it has been a restaurant partner of the House of Culture "GES-2". The owners and partners of the holding, Galaktion and Elina Tabidze, open increasingly large and conceptual projects each year. "gt" focuses on food that is both accessible and gastronomic, and on exceptional and rare wines in its wine lists. Galaktion and Elina Tabidze personally oversee all aspects of the restaurants, including the concepts, interior design, selection of chefs and staff, and operational control.
