Born in Vorarlberg, but no stranger to Cologne's restaurant scene, Michael Scherz showcases the cuisine of his home country. The menu is divided into Austrian classics, including Tafelspitz (boiled beef), Wiener schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake with raisins), and "new classics with a twist", such as "Drei-Käse-Hoch, corn soufflé, green asparagus and artichoke" – to be washed down with good wines from Austria. The pleasant and professional team provides speedy, friendly, laid-back service. There is also a nice bar. The terrace to the rear of the restaurant is another appealing spot. Good to know: the restaurant is easily accessible from the city centre by tram.
