A delightful destination for a romantic weekend, this 19th-century pavilion is located in a park that was historically the garden of a monastery. Today, the building houses both a classically decorated country house hotel and this charming conservatory restaurant, where every table has a view out over the Præstø Fjord. The room has a calming feel, putting the focus on meticulously presented dishes which blend classical French techniques with a more restrained Nordic vision; you might find spring salad accompanied by lumpfish roe and butter sauce made using saffron.
