A Turkish meat restaurant where the highly experienced chef from Istanbul, Cihan Deniz, combines authentic recipes with modern culinary trends.
Arkadia Novikov's Turkish restaurant is a gastronomic concept built on a combination of authentic recipes, lovingly collected from different regions of the country, and modern culinary trends. It features around two dozen types of steaks and experiments with wet-aged meat, embodying the twenty-year experience of a new figure on the Russian culinary scene – Chef Cihan Deniz. The menu at Cihan, named after the chef himself, offers a wide range of steaks, from classic to alternative cuts, as well as wet-aged options from the restaurant's own aging cabinet. You'll also find traditional Turkish dishes like köfte (minced meat patties), grilled dishes, meze with delicate flatbreads straight from the tandoor oven, doner kebabs, and a dozen other kebab varieties – yes, they are passionate about meat here. The design of the project was developed by Maria Zhukova (Marani, Burger & Pizzetta, etc.). The interior of Cihan is a calm yet captivating eclectic mix, with plenty of space. When it's particularly hot, the display windows on the second floor can be opened like an accordion, transforming the dining room into an open-air space. A separate staircase leads to the third floor, where a spacious terrace will soon open. The walls of the restaurant are adorned with life-size paintings, mirrors, and a giant two-story-high bull head. The rough, industrial details in the factory style are balanced by the comfortable leather armchairs and the chandeliers that hang from the ceiling.
