About

Flavors of thousand-year-old recipes, reinterpreted for today. Spices, steeped in the history of ancient trade routes, meet local ingredients. An open-fire oven transforms simple ingredients into culinary discoveries. "Chudo-Yudo" is a portal on Arbat Street, where metaphysics intertwines with urbanism, and the secrets of ancient cuisine find new life in a modern interpretation.

The restaurant blurs the boundaries between worlds and eras. Natural and futuristic elements are boldly combined: massive wooden structures made from whole trees intertwine with neon installations. Birches, piercing the fabric of time, and technological portals-windows into other dimensions of gastronomy and culture create a volatile mix of paganism and cyberpunk – a hyper-modern fairy tale in the neo-folk style, set to the rhythms of downtempo.

At the heart of this multi-dimensional crossroads is the open-fire oven, the "living heart" of what is playfully called the "exotic cuisine" concept. In Slavic mythology, beyond the sea, in the thirty-third kingdom, stands the World Tree – the axis of the world, through which one can access other dimensions. This oven is a portal, uniting culinary traditions from different civilizations.

Here, dishes are created that break down cultural boundaries: Italian pizza acquires a Slavic profile, Indian spices are combined with Siberian ingredients, and Asian techniques transform familiar products into a new gastronomic experience. Churrasco skewers, dishes cooked over an open flame, delicacies baked in salt, a raw bar – these and other cooking methods are reinterpreted by the project's chefs through the lens of Russian sensibilities. The philosophy of the "Chudo-Yudo" kitchen does not recognize compromises – guests leave not only with a new gastronomic experience, but also with a pleasant feeling of satisfaction, as one should after visiting a restaurant.

Head Chef Ruslan Polyakov and Chef Anton Lutsenko are culinary alchemists and true explorers of gastronomic traditions. Analytical precision is combined with an intuitive understanding of flavor archetypes. Each dish is simultaneously a meditation, a breakthrough, and a return to one's roots.
