About

"The Tea Room" is a restaurant located in a spacious and bright atrium within the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace, situated on Voznesensky Prospekt.

The Tea Room is truly an oasis in the heart of the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg. The restaurant has been carefully placed within one of the original palace's internal courtyards. The architects and engineers faced a challenging task: to construct a glass roof supported by several decorative columns, while preserving the palace's original interior.

The restaurant's bright and spacious atmosphere is largely thanks to the glass roof (which, of course, is heated during the winter – remember, we are in Russia!). The abundance of greenery and plants creates the ambiance of a winter garden, which is further enhanced by the frescoes on the central walls. The early spring inspired the designers in their choice of color palette: the green leaves gradually turn golden, as if light is filtering through them. The Tea Room offers guests breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a light dinner, and is also perfect for informal gatherings. However, the truly special atmosphere awaits guests during the elegant afternoon tea ceremony. As is customary, tea is served with or without milk, coffee is available, and hot chocolate is highly recommended. The delicate porcelain tableware, fresh flowers, and magnificent palace-style interiors create a festive atmosphere and encourage pleasant conversation, even if clouds gather above the glass roof of "The Tea Room."

Guests are served dozens of miniature appetizers and desserts on a tall etagere, which will delight true connoisseurs of pastry. In keeping with Russian traditions, you can order warm pancakes with red caviar and sour cream to accompany your tea. Mini-burgers with crab, gougères with foie gras pâté, a tartslet made with celery root and hazelnuts with mandarin and black truffle, will be appreciated by true gourmands, while a chocolate mousse, delicate macarons, and a rice pudding with prune marmalade will allow you to end any conversation on a pleasant note. The menu changes with each season.
