About
Allow yourself to be guided along the evocative Tuscan white roads, immersed in lush vegetation and between orderly rows of vines that compose the landscape with an almost painterly harmony: the journey itself becomes an integral part of the experience. On arrival, guests are welcomed into a fascinating medieval hamlet, complete with tower and frescoed chapel, which is home to Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco – awarded Three Michelin Keys – and to one of the most interesting restaurants in the area. It is here that chef Matteo Temperini offers a personal and creative reading of regional cuisine, celebrating also the produce of the property’s kitchen garden. The offering extends across three tasting menus, with the option of choosing à la carte as well (minimum three courses). The dishes are served in a contemporary and elegant dining room, enhanced by a panoramic terrace. The wine list, with over 700 labels, favours the local area while opening up to the rest of Italy and some international selections. The by-the-glass offering is of interest, with a notable Montevertine 2020 deserving particular mention.
