In a romantic chalet deep in the countryside, this dinky restaurant has no more than six tables spread over two levels in several cosy dining rooms. In winter, a log burning fire greets you, instantly setting the rustic yet welcoming tone; a small terrace is greatly appreciated come summertime. At the helm are Adrien Lopez (chef) and Clara Laurent (front of house), whose ethos is good, wholesome food made from scratch. Adrien crafts fresh, flavoursome dishes from primarily local ingredients, while Clara graciously pampers diners. You will choose between a tasting menu or a concise à la carte lineup, both of which are great value for money. Regional tipples take pride of place on the wine list. Bookings recommended if you want to be sure of a table.
