About
This place boasts a delightful setting on the waterside promenade of a small island in the Havel River. The restaurant itself is just as attractive with its upscale, modern and elegant interior, almost intimate atmosphere, and beautiful terrace by the lake. Then there is the creative cuisine made using regional and seasonal produce. Vegetables play a central role – many sourced from the restaurant's own garden at Schloss Petzow. The six-course set menu is composed of dishes that can also be ordered individually, should you wish to put together your own shorter version. If you would like the vegetarian set menu, it is best to order this when making your reservation. The food is characterised by its precise technical skill, clear structure and beautiful sense of balance – it comes as no surprise that chef Thomas Hübner has already plied his trade in some of Germany and Italy's top restaurants. Tip: If you see a pasta dish on the menu, be sure to order it! Owner Patrick Schwatke – himself a MICHELIN-starred chef – takes good care of his guests, adding a personal touch to proceedings.
