The restaurant enjoys a splendid seafront position along the elegant promenade of the modern Marina. A charming setting, enhanced by a spacious terrace – where dinner opens with refined finger food – and a breathtaking view over the blue sea dotted with lush green islets. As evening falls, the illuminated silhouette of the Church of St. Euphemia adds further charm to the atmosphere. The kitchen is helmed by Simone De Lucca, under the supervision of Emanuele Scarello, chef of the renowned two-Michelin-starred Agli Amici in Udine. The menu offers two tasting menus, Rovinj and Istria, dedicated respectively to the sea and the land, alongside an à la carte selection. In every proposal, great attention to the quality of the raw material and a precise, considered approach to its preparation are evident: few ingredients, each with a well-defined role, often celebrated in their entirety so as to ennoble even the less conventional parts. Among the most memorable dishes for our Inspector: the mussel and saffron risotto, rich in aromas, creaminess and fragrance, and the amberjack, courgette and saffron, played out through elegant contrasts of texture and flavour. For the wine pairing, it is well worth placing oneself in the hands of the knowledgeable sommelier, who can guide you through a selection of Croatian and international labels or suggest specially created original cocktail pairings.
