Over the past 12 years, Roman Kalinin's professional career has included stints at The Chivas Live Bar, Yami Yami, "Pashtet," Double Grill & Bar, "Crepe de Chine," and other popular establishments in Yekaterinburg. At various times, the chef has participated in international culinary competitions and championships, and has trained with chefs from Japan, China, and Singapore. He also completed an internship in the kitchen of the renowned Zuma restaurant, under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Adrian Ketglas, as well as with famous Russian chefs Dmitry Zotov and Dmitry Blinov. For the past two years, Roman has been leading the kitchen at the MOMO pan asian kitchen gastropub. The chef creates unusual, modern dishes that surprise with their taste and presentation, and in his free time, he is dedicated to developing the culinary culture in the Ural region, organizing dinners with top chefs from across Russia, and independently running the Cookout festival. In 2019, Roman Kalinin was named the best chef in the Urals by the prestigious restaurant award "Where To Eat," and the MOMO pan asian kitchen gastropub was recognized as the best establishment in the region. In 2021, according to "Where To Eat," the chef once again ranked first among all chefs in the Urals.
