About
Born in Saratov, Nikolai showed an early interest in culinary arts. In 2008, he graduated from the Saratov College of Culinary Arts, which marked the beginning of his career. From 2009 to 2011, he worked at the upscale Italian restaurant Dolce Vita, where he quickly rose from a cook to a sous chef. This experience not only allowed him to hone his skills but also to understand the nuances of working in a high-end kitchen. In 2011, Nikolai took on a new challenge and became the head chef at the Mexican bar Cabo Wabo in Saratov. Here, he mastered new techniques and recipes, which significantly broadened his culinary horizons. After that, he moved to Moscow, where he continued his career as a sous chef at the Stariki bar (2013-2015) and "Ded Pichto" (2015-2016). From 2017 to 2020, Nikolai held the position of brand chef at the restaurants "Birken" and Romm Cafe & Bar, where his culinary ideas and concepts gained widespread recognition. In 2020, he became the head chef at the restaurant "Sytiy Los," and since 2022, he has been leading the Hands Asian bistro restaurant. Since 2024, Nikolai Petrukhin has been the brand chef for the Hands and Hands Asian bistro restaurants, continuing to develop his culinary ideas and inspiring the team to create unique dishes. His journey is a story of dedication to his craft, a constant pursuit of excellence, and a love for the culinary arts.
