About
Mikhail Schetinin represents the St. Petersburg Culinary School. He is a chef, second generation. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with chefs from France, Sweden, Israel, Germany, and Japan. He completed internships in Germany and Israel (at the King David Hotel), where he gained expertise in "glatt kosher" religious Jewish cuisine. He has worked for major catering companies, including Concord Catering and Pantagruel. As a chef, Mikhail has been involved in restaurant projects in both Moscow and St. Petersburg, including "Sky Lounge," "Lucien," "Tinkov Private Brewery," "Carmel," "Mulatto Thomas," "Seven-Forty," the international Jewish community center at the Maryina Roshcha synagogue, and "Stroganov Palace." He has participated in various international projects and conducted master classes at "Discover Russian Cuisine Turin" in Italy, representing The Atelier restaurant. He holds a certificate from the international "Slow Food" movement and is a member of the alliance of chefs within the World Chef Association. He is also actively involved in reviving culinary traditions and recreating ancient recipes in a modern interpretation.
