About
Bagrat hails from Rostov-on-Don. At the age of seventeen, he visited the "Paris" restaurant, which specializes in French cuisine, for the first time. He was so impressed by the atmosphere and energy of the place that he decided to pursue a career as a chef and enrolled in a culinary arts and business school in Rostov. After completing his studies, Bagrat began his professional career at the "Good Restaurants" holding company, specifically at the Italian restaurant "Bellucci." He had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working alongside Italian chefs, including Fabrizio Fattucci, Luca Natalini, and Walter Bizoffi. Over eight years of productive work in Rostov, Bagrat had the chance to work in legendary restaurants such as "Onegin Dacha," "London Pub," and "La Fabbrica," and he also participated in the qualifying round of the international competition "Les chefs en Or 2018," as well as in the preparation of the "IkraFest" festival. Subsequently, Bagrat received an invitation to work as a brand chef at the leading restaurant group in Krasnodar, "Madyar Collection," where he developed the cuisine of renowned restaurants in the city, including "Coral Beads," "Madyar Grill Bar," and "Don Bazilio." In early 2021, Bagrat received a job offer from the company "Coffee Set," although it seems we've been working together for more than a few years. From the very beginning of his work at the company, Bagrat has successfully streamlined all production and organizational processes in the kitchen, which has allowed him to focus entirely on their development and improvement. In a short period of time, we have managed to open the most beautiful restaurant in the city, "Central Park 22," and another premium cafe in the "Coffee Set" chain. We have ambitious plans and aspirations to develop the restaurant culture of Krasnodar, and Bagrat is undoubtedly one of the key players in this process.
Our chef's main passion is experimenting, researching, and exploring new possibilities in creating dishes and their components. Bagrat draws inspiration from various sources, including travel, communication with like-minded chefs, modern and classic culinary literature, and gastronomic tours not only to Moscow and St. Petersburg but also to remote regions of our country. For over two years, Bagrat has been happily married to his wife, Ekaterina, who is undoubtedly a muse for his successes and achievements. His favorite places in Krasnodar include the cozy historical center (where our restaurants and cafes are located), the Kuban River embankment, and the stunning modern architecture park, "Galitsky Park." The chef's motto is: "Make the guest happy, even before they taste the dish."
