About
Alexander Britvin's career in the culinary world has been a journey, much like the voyages he once assisted with as a ship's cook on the "Perm-Volgograd" riverboat, leading him to his current role as the head chef of the Balkan bistro Lolo, located on the Black Sea coast in Sochi.
In 2012, Alexander moved ashore and joined the Belgian restaurant Blanche de Bruxelles in Perm, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the head chef just three years later. In 2019, he moved to Yekaterinburg and joined the gastrobar Metis. There, he discovered the authentic flavors of Peru, embracing the traditions of Nikkei cuisine. Inspired by the culinary traditions of Latin America, Alexander continued to grow and, by the beginning of 2020, he had become the restaurant's head chef.
In the summer of 2020, Alexander accepted an offer from the Kitchen Family restaurant group and moved south to Sochi, where he opened the restaurant "Resort Romance." In late December 2021, together with the Kitchen Family team, led by Nikolai Pavlovich and the company's brand chef, Sergey Miroshnikov, he launched a new project for the group in southern Russia: the Balkan bistro Lolo, located on the beachfront near the port in the heart of the Russian Riviera.
