Alexey Mochnov is one of the most prominent and talented bartenders of the 21st century. He was the first Russian bartender to participate in the finals of international competitions in England and the United States, and he also became a prize-winner at world championships organized by WFA, FBA, and IBA in various parts of the world. Alexey is the owner of the first bar consulting company in Russia, which has launched over 165 projects both in Russia and abroad. In 2019, he opened the bar "Son Mendeleeva" in Moscow, and in 2022, he opened the bar-restaurant "Son" in St. Petersburg.

Throughout his career, in addition to participating in world championships, Alexey served as a representative and judge for international bartending associations: the World Flair Association (UK) and the Flair Bartenders Association (USA). He was the organizer and driving force behind world championships held in Moscow, with a total prize pool of $63,500, in which representatives from the bar industry of over 30 countries participated in the last one.
