A truly memorable evening awaits at Gaptrast, where three hours passes in a flash. You’ll be greeted with a glass of cider and talked through some of the outstanding local ingredients they have dry aged, before being escorted up to the lounge for meticulously prepared snacks, then on to the moody restaurant. The surprise menu comprises incredibly original, complex creations packed full of vibrant, well-layered flavours, where preserved ingredients and the charcoal grill are used to great effect. Highlights include the exquisite langoustine with beetroot and blackcurrant, and the oscietra caviar with seaweed ice cream and whey.
