The Brazilian-born chef did stints in Mexico, the U.S. and his home country before settling down in New Zealand. He opened this cosy, buzzy, bistro-style restaurant in 2023 offering a concise lineup of Brazilian and pan-Latin classics. Chargrilled picanha steak is cooked to perfect doneness and loaded with smoky aromas. The grilled chicken hearts and pão de queijo are both stand outs and best enjoyed with the house-made chilli oil.
